Sony Brings Out Promos to Make 3D TV Bearable to the Pocket

With the economy in a wreck and unemployment still high, Sony insists we should buy 3DTV because it’s “in 3D,” which is why they come up with promos to make you buy a Bravia HX8000.

For instance, buy the new Sony 3DTV and you get two pairs of 3D glasses, the transmitter, copies of “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs” and “IMAX Deep Sea 3D” on 3D Blu-ray, four 3D PS3 games, and a Blu-ray home theater-in-a-box. A US$340 value, yours absolutely free.

This makes the 46-inch model cost $2,429, while the 54.6-inch model is now $3.059. Still too expensive.
